WBH Associates unique niche in the CAD world is that it covers all vertical markets (AEC, Mechanical/manufacturing, engineering analysis, animation, GIS, and everything in between and beyond), all CAD platforms (from Mac to Cray), and all CAD systems. It is in this niche that we act as strategic management consultants for firms using or considering using CAD. For these firms we focus on
WBH spends a great deal of time with clients who are CAD vendors. We perform competitive analysis of their and their competitors current and future products, and take part in the design of new products, releases, marketing strategies, and other internal matters.
WBH was on teams that bid on the NAVSEA, NAVFAC, and the NAVAIR CAD2 procurements, among others. The total dollar value of these three procurements alone is approximately two billion dollars. Our roles in these bids (and EDMICS, FEDCAC, etc.) ranged from preparing a detailed devils advocate bid (essentially coming up with a complete bid structure showing what we expected the other team to bid, and how we expected them to price it), to putting together the entire software bid proposal, to litigation support for award protest defense.
